MB SOLUTIONS IS NOW PROVIDING TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES, SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS ON MANAGING FATIGUE IN THE WORKPLACE.  THE TRAINING IS BASED ON THE WORK OF THE CENTRE FOR SLEEP RESEARCH.

  • Affects of fatigue and what impact it has on a workers ability to complete the task safely
  • Statistics on fatigue - where possible location or industry specific
  • Group Discussions on personal experiences with fatigue errors and incidents
  • Identifying symptoms of fatigue in self and team mates
  • Your legal rights and responsibilities
  • Company policy - including control measures to manage fatigue
Time Frame: aprox one hour 30min
Attendees:  all staff can attend, max 20 per session

  • How the Fatigue Calculator works
  • How to use the Fatigue Calculator - case studies and examples
  • How to calculate a Fatigue Roster - working out what time fatigue will become a risk
  • How to calculate sleep required to maintain an alert state for entire shift/commute the next day
  • How to introduce the Fatigue Calculator to the family unit - the important decision makers
Time Frame:  approx 30min
Attendees:  All staff can attend, max 20 per session
Delivery:  on site, or can be downloaded off website free of charge
